“HANDMADE GUITARS ARE SPECIAL

When building an instrument,  I seek to create a functionally gorgeous tool, from which, others can actualize their own expression of art.  With each specification of dimension, tone wood and functionality, nuance is introduced into the recipe that delivers one of a kind instrument's. 

I believe that the magic of history’s  most prized musical tools is a product of the nuances introduced by the human touch. The inevitable variation in  instruments built mostly by hand creates personality and character. These instruments are not just objects, they are individuals. 

As players,  this input from our instruments garners inspiration and pushes us forward.  When at its most ideal, the playing experience is more like a duet than a solo performance.  Thats what I am after with my guitars. That's why I do most of my building with hand tools.  This way, I feel that I am able to inject a bit of character , passion and love into every Instrument that leaves my shop.”
